About the team

You will be part of a Pan-European Product and Engineering team that operates in an Agile environment. You’ll work closely — and fully remotely — with experts in Product Management, Product Design, Web Dev, Mobile Dev, Backend Dev, QA and DevOps from Germany, France, the Netherlands, and other European locations.

You will report directly to the CPTO and be responsible for our SRE team, as well as our Data and Security teams.

Your impact

Infrastructure Strategy & Leadership

• Define and execute an overarching strategic roadmap for infrastructure, data and security services, taking ROI and user needs into consideration.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and security across all infrastructure layers.
• Drive cost optimization, forecasting and reporting based on usage patterns and volumes.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor analysis and stakeholder feedback through a data-driven approach to continuously evolve our infrastructure.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Product Managers, Developers, and other teams to align infrastructure capabilities with business needs.
• Represent Infrastructure in strategic discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Translate technical insights into actionable plans and clear communication for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Team Management & Growth

• Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure professionals and product managers.
• Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Implement performance frameworks and support career development for team members.

️ To succeed, you should meet at least 70% of these requirements

• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure or platform engineering leadership, ideally in fintech, payments, or e-commerce.
• Proven track record of building and scaling secure, high-performance infrastructure in highly-regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps, automation, and CI/CD best practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills to share a compelling infrastructure vision.
• Outstanding communication and presentations skills to effectively convey information to a diverse audience, including senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies and iterative development cycles.
• Experience with Business Intelligence and Data Analytics is a plus.
• Fluent in English (CEFR C1 or C2); additional EU languages are a plus.
• Thrive in a remote-first, multicultural environment.
