As Head of In-House Supply Chain, you take ownership of internal manufacturing operations. You optimize forecasting, production planning, and day-to-day operations while ensuring efficient inventory and warehouse management. In this key role, you drive operational excellence, cost efficiency, and supply continuity. You work closely with our two manufacturing sites in India and Cyprus, fostering strong synergies and collaboration, without having direct managerial authority. A core focus of your role is to ensure that cost structures remain competitive and to continuously identify opportunities for cost optimization within internal operations.

A challenging task

• Closely collaborate with the Partner Supply Chain team to align internal and external supply chain operations
• Develop and implement internal supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee production planning, scheduling, and capacity management, ensuring accurate forecasting and planning as the foundation for operational efficiency
• Ensure seamless inventory management and warehouse optimization
• Improve internal logistics efficiency and coordination with customers and logistic partners
• Build strong relationships with the India and Cyprus manufacturing sites, identifying and driving synergies
• Regularly visit our manufacturing sites to collaborate with employees and ensure alignment
• Monitor and enhance supply chain performance through KPIs, with a strong emphasis on cost optimization
• Act as the primary Supply Chain representative towards customers, driving alignment and collaboration through regular forums and being the main point of escalation to ensure swift, solution-oriented responses in ad-hoc situations

A convincing background

• 10+ years in supply chain management, preferably in pharmaceuticals
• Strong leadership and process optimization skills
• Prior experience working within a manufacturing site is highly desirable
• Solid experience with customer management
• Experience with ERP systems and supply planning tools
• Strong understanding of cost optimization strategies and financial acumen
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Quality, Regulatory, and Procurement teams
• Willingness to travel regularly to manufacturing sites in India and Cyprus as well as customer visits
