Qualifikationen

  • Erfahrung in der Führung von HR-Teams und strategischer Partnerschaft mit Führungskräften.
  • Umfassende Kenntnisse im deutschen Arbeitsrecht und in der Verhandlung von Tarifverträgen.

As Head of HR TUIfly Germany, you will lead a dynamic team of HR professionals, driving innovative HR solutions and ensuring compliance with German labour laws. Reporting to the HR Director, TUI Airline, you will collaborate with senior managers and HR peers to foster efficiency, innovation, and a vibrant workplace culture across the airline.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Lead and develop a team of HR professionals, delivering innovative people solutions for TUIfly Germany.
  • Partner with the TUIfly Geschäftsführer as a key member of the Geschäftsleitung, providing strategic HR guidance.
  • Lead the integration of TUIfly into the broader TUI Airline ecosystem.
  • Develop and implement a robust labour relations strategy aligned with TUI Group and TUI Airline objectives.
  • Provide expert guidance on German labour law and cultural matters to HR peers and Directors across TUI Airline.
  • Shape the TUI Airline HR strategy as part of the global HR leadership team.
  • Ensure efficient and consistent HR service delivery across all aspects of the German airline legal entity.

ABOUT YOU

  • University degree in HR, German Labour Law, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Demonstrated experience with leading HR teams and partnering with senior business leaders in complex organisations.
  • Extensive experience in German Labour Relations, including negotiating collective agreements and managing works council relationships.
  • Excellent strategic thinking skills with the ability to implement strategic objectives effectively.
  • Experience working in aviation or a similar 24/7 customer-facing, regulated environment.
  • Comfortable operating in a matrix organisation and as part of a large global HR function.
  • Results-oriented and hands-on approach to HR leadership, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive change.
  • Native-level German speaker with fluent business English.
