For temporary employment of 24 months, Rocket Factory Augsburg AG in Augsburg is looking for a
Head of HR (m/f/d).

Our international and agile team is seeking a motivated individual to lead our dedicated HR team in the position of Head of HR (f/m/d). You will work within a young, highly motivated HR team passionate about people relations and operating in a caring company environment. Use your HR expertise to influence success within our business teams, make a difference in shaping a New Space industry, and help revolutionize the space sector. Your Tasks

1. Be the sparring partner for the board and provide direction in performance management, staffing, organizational design, and organizational change aligned with organizational objectives.
2. Interpret and advise on human resources policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws, standards, and regulations.
3. Collaborate with business leaders to interpret business needs and translate strategies into people and organizational priorities.
4. Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, embodying RFA values and culture.
5. Identify gaps in current team plans and programs to develop critical skills.
6. Implement KPIs to measure HR effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
7. Oversee the recruiting process within a specific business unit to attract suitable candidates.
8. Facilitate training on conflict management, communication, workplace civility, team dynamics, leadership, and foundational management practices.
9. Maintain an open ear for all employees and exemplify our company values as a role model.

Your Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related discipline.
2. 6+ years of experience in human resources roles, preferably in a technical environment.
3. Empathy and ability to engage and build relationships with employees, supervision, and management.
4. Knowledge of German labor law; familiarity with Swedish or Portuguese labor law is a plus.
5. Experience working in a startup environment is preferred.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
7. Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
8. Ability to maintain perspective and stay calm under stress.
9. Fluent in English, both oral and written (all activities are conducted in English).
10. Strategic thinker with the ability to implement ideas and programs tactically.
11. Excellent communication skills, teamwork capacity, and loyalty.
