Position Overview
We seek a healthcare enthusiast and transformational leader who can inspire and motivate team members to create meaningful change.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and empower the GMED-S team to interpret scientific content and clinical data, translating it into compelling medical narratives for diverse audiences.
- Create scientific presentations, lectures, training materials, speaker decks, FAQ documents, etc., tailored for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs and R&D on the creation and review of regulatory and clinical content related to new drugs, clinical trials, and medical treatments, focusing on epidemiology, therapeutic areas, guidelines, and patient needs.
- Handle medical inquiries from healthcare providers, patients, and partners, in coordination with the global safety department.
- Conduct research on medical topics to ensure accurate and compliant communication.
- Participate in scientific events and international symposia.
- Support external innovation, development, and partnering activities through medical evaluation and engagement with opinion leaders.
Collaboration & Opportunities
You will work closely with R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Global Safety, Marketing, Market Access, and Sales. You will have opportunities to influence processes and contribute your experience, serving as a role model and leader within your team, and representing Global Medical in various forums.
Qualifications
- Degree in natural sciences, preferably medicine, pharmacy, or biology/biochemistry; doctorate preferred.
- Minimum five years of industry experience in medical science, with international (European) leadership experience.
- Mandatory experience in gastroenterology and hepatology; patient engagement and compassionate use programs are advantageous.
- Independent, structured, with strong communication skills, empathy, transparency, and transformational leadership style.
- Fluent in English and German; additional languages like French, Italian, or Spanish are a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office, Teams, SharePoint, literature databases; knowledge of Prism GraphPad or Adobe Illustrator is beneficial.
