We are looking for a competent IT specialist who, together with an international team, will accompany the further development of the entire company in an implementation-oriented manner.

Main functions

• Continuation and constant adjustment / optimization of the IT strategy and its implementation
• Operation of the entire IT infrastructure with maximum availability and simultaneous optimization of costs
• Offering modern applications (“apps”) for all processes in the operational areas of the division
• Checking of standards, especially for CAD, CAQ and CAM software as global platforms
• Management and/or monitoring of the central IT projects and integration of new companies (parts) into the existing IT infrastructure

Education

Ideally a degree in computer science or similar

Qualification

• Sound knowledge of a global IT structure/ Broad knowledge of current IT topics
• Understanding of value and cost drivers in the IT environment
• IT infrastructure and system support, server structures and cloud solutions
• ERP System, Oracle JDEdwards Enterprise One
• CAx processes Develop and set up structures; Check software solutions for fit
• Cyber Security Protection of the IT infrastructure

Experience

• Confident handling of C-level functions
• Ability to „translate“ IT issues for line management
• Negotiation skills, e.g. towards software suppliers
• Several years of management experience, also internationally and across management levels
• Budget responsibility
• English and German languages business fluent
