Freudenberg Performance Materials Holding GmbH is seeking a finance leader at the Weinheim HQ to drive monthly management reporting, forecasting, and strategic planning for a globally active business group.

You will partner with senior leaders, optimize processes, and lead transformation projects across Controlling while mentoring teams. English fluency is required; German is a plus. This on-site role offers exposure to multinational manufacturing operations and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a comparable field.
• 8+ years in group controlling or financial reporting within an international industrial environment.
• Experience leading teams both functionally and disciplinarily.
• Nice to have: background in management consulting, Big 4, or controlling in a multinational manufacturing group.
• Strong systems skills: MS Office, SAP, MIS (e.g. HFM).
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); German is a plus.
• Executive communication: translate complex financial topics for senior leaders.
• Structured problem solving: break down ambiguity and drive decisions.
• Commitment & drive demonstrated by ownership and delivering high-quality results under pressure.
• Stakeholder management: align diverse perspectives and build trust.

Responsibilities:

• Finance leadership role with Freudenberg Performance Materials (FPM) based at the headquarters in Weinheim, Germany.
• You lead the management reporting and forecasting for a globally active business group with divisions across multiple industries, partnering with senior leaders and driving modernization across reporting, processes, and systems.
• Reporting & Forecasting: Lead the monthly management reporting and forecasting process, delivering transparency on key business drivers, ensuring high data quality and providing clear presentations for top management.
• Analysis: Manage in-depth and ad-hoc analyses of business performance, delivering decision-ready insights to support our operational and strategic goals.
• Planning: Drive the operative and strategic planning process across the group to shape the future direction and development of the business group.
• Business Partnering: Closely cooperate with the Board of Management, senior management of divisions, and corporate functions by providing financial expertise. Act as the primary point of contact for the Freudenberg Group for all Controlling related topics.
• Transformation & Project management: Contribute to key projects aiming at developing the business group (e.g. PMI).
• Optimization: Continuously improve Controlling processes, tools and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy in business analysis.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a comparable field.
• Experience: 8+ years in group controlling or financial reporting within an international industrial environment.
• Leadership Skills: Experience in leading teams both functionally and disciplinary.
• Nice to have: Background in management consulting, Big 4 firm and/or controlling within a multinational manufacturing group.
• Strong Systems Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, Management Information Systems (e.g. HFM).
• Language: Fluency in English (written and spoken); German is a plus.
