As Head of Finance (all genders), you’ll play a key role in shaping Wemolo’s financial future. You’ll be part of an experienced leadership team, driving sound financial decisions that enable scalable operations. This is a high-impact role with direct visibility to the founders, offering a unique opportunity to build and elevate the finance function in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
What to expect:
Leadership: Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Finance team, ensuring efficient workflows and alignment with company objectives.
Financial Planning: Take ownership of financial planning activities, including budgeting and forecasting cycles, to support informed decision-making.
Reporting: Ensure timely, accurate, and comprehensive financial reporting for internal stakeholders, investors, and banking partners.
Financial Analysis: Serve as a strategic business partner to management and cross-functional departments by evaluating the financial impact of market opportunities and strategic initiatives, such as profitability analysis and payback period assessments.
Operational Excellence: Collaborate closely with the Accounting team to evaluate and enhance financial processes and structures, driving scalability through the assessment and implementation of new tools and systems.
Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with banking partners, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring effective financial communication and coordination.
Inspire us by
Your background: 5+ years of relevant professional experience (e.g. in consulting, FP&A organization of SMEs)
People Leadership: Proven leadership skills with a track record developing teams, and setting ambitious goals.
Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills, with an analytical mindset, pragmatic approach, and solution-oriented thinking.
Executive Communication: Excellent communication abilities, with the confidence and clarity to engage effectively across all levels of the organization—from C-level executives to project teams.
Project Delivery: Proven project management experience, having successfully led complex initiatives with measurable impact.
Language Proficiency: Native-level German (C2) and fluent English (C1)
