About the Role

As a Head of Engineering, you’ll lead our engineering function with a hands-on approach, owning architecture, development quality, and technical scalability — while aligning closely with company strategy and product goals. This role is not for a pure people manager- It’s for someone who lives and breathes code, makes sharp architectural calls, and drives clarity and speed through solid engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Own and evolve the architecture of our core systems, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  2. Lead by example as a top-tier engineer: reviewing code, debugging, and prototyping when needed.
  3. Drive engineering excellence: implement processes that ensure clean releases, high code quality, and rapid iteration.
  4. Translate company strategy and product vision into an actionable, scalable engineering roadmap.
  5. Collaborate closely with product, design, and leadership teams to align engineering efforts with business outcomes.
  6. Build and nurture a high-performing engineering team — but through strong technical guidance, not just people management.
About You
  1. Proven track record of shipping high-quality software at scale in fast-paced, high-growth environments with experience scaling early-stage products into mature platforms.
  2. Background in B2B SaaS, automation, or AI-driven products.
  3. Deep understanding of modern system design, backend architecture, and engineering best practices.
  4. Excellent coder — you’ve written and maintained real-world production systems, and still enjoy doing it.
  5. Strategic thinker: you naturally connect dots between technology, product, and business goals.
  6. Familiar with remote-first, async-friendly workflows.
  7. Ability to simplify complex technical topics and lead cross-functional discussions.
  8. Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire through technical vision and clarity.
