Your tasks as Head of digital (m/f/d)

As Head of Digital (m/f/d), you will lead and drive the digital growth of our company. In this leadership role, you will take responsibility for expanding our digital presence across all three business areas: Service, E-Commerce and Trade, while guiding and motivating a team to achieve ambitious goals and strengthen our market position.

Responsibilities
  • Leading the development and execution of the digital strategy to maximize growth across trade and e-commerce channels in addition to the usual B2B environment including PPC, paid social, display, and programmatic buying
  • Oversee SEO strategy and implementation to increase organic traffic, improve keyword rankings, and maximize conversions
  • Collaborate with e-commerce, sales, and trade marketing teams to deliver integrated campaigns aligned with business goals
  • Analyze data across digital touchpoints, using insights to optimize ROI and ensure continual improvement of campaigns
  • Oversee the management of and develop relationships with digital agencies, technology partners, and platform providers
  • Deliver forecasts, reporting, and insights to senior stakeholders on performance KPIs and digital growth opportunities
  • Stay ahead of emerging digital trends, advertising technologies, and e-commerce best practices
  • Lead, mentor, and grow the digital marketing team to expand overall in-house capability
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B digital environments with proven leadership experience
  • Proven track record in leading digital marketing teams for B2B and trade and e-commerce businesses
  • Deep expertise in paid media channels including Google Ads, Meta, programmatic, and marketplaces
  • Solid understanding of digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, GA4, Tag Manager, SEMrush, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of SEO strategy, keyword optimization, technical SEO, and content growth
  • Demonstrated ability to drive measurable ROI and deliver revenue growth through digital channels
  • Fluent in English; additional languages such as German, Dutch, or French are a strong advantage
  • A sleeves rolled up and hands on approach is required; comfortable using data and potential ROI to justify activity at Executive and board level and must be a team player
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe, supporting collaboration and connection across our international teams
