As Head of Design, you’ll shape the user experience of a rapidly growing investment platform, with the dual mission of making investing accessible to beginners and delivering a high-performance experience for more advanced users.
Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, you’ll define the company’s design strategy, lead a growing team, and work hands-on across key product areas. Your design leadership will directly contribute to product success and customer satisfaction.
Strategic UX Leadership: Drive the platform-wide UX and design strategy across web and mobile, continuously improving the investment experience for all user levels.
Team Building & Leadership: Lead and scale a growing design team with a focus on collaboration, quality, and talent development.
Hands-On Design Work: Contribute directly to key UX concepts, flows, and high-impact screens while mentoring others in the craft.
Research & User Testing: Establish and scale structured UX research processes, including interviews, usability tests, and data-driven insights to guide design decisions.
Design System Evolution: Own and grow the design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and a cohesive brand experience.
Brand Consistency: Ensure a unified and engaging brand presence across all touchpoints – visually, functionally, and in tone – connecting sub-brands into a strong, coherent identity.
Trends & Tools: Stay on top of design trends and tools, integrating AI-supported design processes where appropriate.
Product & Engineering Collaboration: Embed design deeply in the product development process, working closely with product managers and engineers in cross-functional teams.
Quality Assurance: Champion design excellence across UX, UI, and brand expression from initial concept to implementation.
Experience: 6+ years in UX/UI design for digital products, ideally in FinTech or B2C environments
Leadership: 2+ years of team leadership experience with a track record of mentoring and scaling design teams
Tool Mastery: Expertise in Figma, Illustrator, and Photoshop; strong knowledge of UX methodologies and testing tools
Startup Mindset: Comfortable in dynamic, fast-paced environments with pragmatic prioritization
Tech & AI Affinity: Interest in emerging technologies and the potential of AI-enhanced design
Ownership Mentality: High standards for yourself and others, with strong product thinking and accountability
