A pioneering Head of Data Science to lead and grow our Data Science team with innovation foster talent and teamwork and drive our offerings growth in alignment with and exceeding Entrixs strategic goals.

• Salary Range : 100.000 145.000 competitive VSOP package

Your Responsibilities

• As a disciplinary leader provide directions coaching and support to the Data Scientists (and Data Engineers currently 8 FTEs plan to grow to 15 by end of year) chartered to Research develop and adapt algorithms that unlock the capacity in the energy system through optimised returns in trading the flexibility of our assets
• Actively drive talent development in the Data Science team individually and as a team
• A winning mentality that drives cultural change; rolemodel collaboration and teamwork with peers heading other teams
• Be responsible for the expansion and evolution of our cloudbased service offering delivering innovation and differentiation based on technology leadership solid fundamentals and a lean research and implementation process
• Collaborate with the executive and leadership teams to set the vision strategy algorithmic roadmap and longterm goals that align with the business objectives achieving Entrixs success
• Failfast as part of the tech leadership team accelerating product delivery without sacrificing excellence is what we are inspired by finding new ways of working using technology breaking habits limits and ceilings. Especially for a datascience team the balance between exploration and delivery is crucial and needs to be clearly demarcated and managed
• Foster technical excellence drive best practices contribute to our open data driven engineering culture
• Building iterating deploying and maintaining code from scratch to excellence

Your Profile

• Master or advanced degree in Computer Science Mathematics Physics or a related field
• 10 years experience in Data Science of which at least 5 years in a leadership position
• 5 years of experience in delivering and maintaining machine learning and data science algorithms in production
• Demonstrated success in managing and leading highperforming Data Science teams
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders as well as collaborating on deep technical concepts with your peers and team
• Track record of successfully delivering technically advanced data products in time
• Ability to technically and scientifically lead applied research projects challenging our current technology choices as well as assisting in bringing the models to production
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
• You enjoy solving problems and sparring ideas in a crossfunctional team with our battery engineers software engineers product managers and business developers

• Having lead a mix of Data Science and Software Teams
• You have built data science teams before
• Experience in the energy industry

Having spent most of my career in Silicon Valley I bring a mindset thats all about pushing boundaries moving fast and creating meaningful impact. Now based in Munich I apply that same energy to building teams and driving innovation here in Europe.
