The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley, we are starting our own battery cell production and ramping up our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The tasks and requirements of the unit Information Technology are varied, covering all matters related to information technology, i.e., electronic data processing. Responsibilities range from IT infrastructure to digitization of the organization and the operational use of electronic data processing throughout the organization.

How You Will CELLebrate

1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the data center, including server hardware, storage systems, core networks, and environmental controls.
2. Ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of all data center, enterprise, and network infrastructure components.
3. Develop and implement procedures for monitoring and managing data center resources, including power usage, cooling systems, and space utilization.
4. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's network and security infrastructure.
5. Develop and implement procedures for monitoring and managing all LAN, WAN, and security network infrastructure.
6. Oversee the day-to-day event management and monitoring operations with an IT Command Center.
7. Coordinate with IT teams, stakeholders, and service providers for maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to data center and network infrastructure.
8. Implement and maintain security protocols and access controls to safeguard sensitive infrastructure and data.
9. Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulations, and industry standards.
10. Lead a team of network engineers and data center technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
11. Conduct regular assessments of Data Center and Network environments to identify vulnerabilities and implement solutions for improvement.
12. Engage in strategic planning, forecasting, and steering of multiple locations.
13. Develop, improve, and share operational best practices across multiple locations.

What You Need For Our CELLebration

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
2. 8-10 years of IT infrastructure and system engineering experience in a 24/7 data center & network environment.
3. 3-5 years of experience leading teams.
4. Experience with enterprise-scale infrastructure.
5. Detailed knowledge of ITIL and service management processes.
6. Ability to present technical information clearly to a non-technical audience.
7. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. IT risk management in an operational environment.
9. Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English.

2. 5+ years of experience with IT infrastructure domains such as compute server platforms, storage server platforms, server components, and network infrastructure.
