ZEISS Group is seeking a Head of Data Analytics & Data Processes in Germany to lead a team of 8–15 professionals responsible for driving data strategy across R&D and manufacturing. • Lead a team of 8–15 professionals in data management processes and data analytics, providing leadership at the disciplinary, functional and organizational level.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to transform ZEISS SMT into a process- and data-driven organization.
• Shape the strategic and technical direction of the group with stakeholders, production, project teams and the SMT roadmap to achieve sustainable success.
• Identify required competencies and resources, and ensure they are developed or made available, contributing technical and methodological expertise to key projects.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality development results, including documentation, technical reviews and reporting.

As Head of Data Analytics & Data Processes (m/f/x), you will lead a team of highly qualified professionals responsible for driving the implementation of our data strategy across both R&D and manufacturing. Your team develops data processes and designs, builds, and operates systems for managing and analyzing process and product data, enabling data-driven innovation throughout the organization.

You will…

• Lead a highly motivated team of approximately 8-15 professionals in the areas of data management processes and data analytics, providing disciplinary, functional, and organizational leadership
• Work closely with your team and cross-functional partners to further transform ZEISS SMT into a process- and data-driven organization
• Shape the strategic and technical direction of the group in close collaboration with stakeholders, production, project teams, and the SMT roadmap, enabling your team to achieve sustainable success
• Identify the competencies and resources required by the group, ensure they are developed or made available as needed, and contribute your own technical and methodological expertise to key projects
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality development results, including appropriate documentation, technical reviews, and reporting

Your profile

You have…

• An excellent university degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics), preferably complemented by a PhD
• Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of leading and managing teams and/or complex projects
• A passion for motivating people, providing clear direction, and developing teams into high-performing organizations
• A decisive, results-oriented leadership style combined with the confidence to manage challenging situations and resolve conflicts effectively
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English
• Several years of experience in the development of technologically complex systems and/or manufacturing processes
• A strong affinity for process and product data as well as IT architectures, combined with a genuine passion for unlocking maximum business value through the effective use of data
