Job Description:

Head of Corporate Strategy & PMO (f/m/d)

for the site Starnberg (Percha), Germany

Would you like to make a valuable contribution to the health of patients? And do something really meaningful on your own responsibility? Then we look forward to hearing from you! Excellence beyond manufacturing - that's what we stand for as Aenova, one of the world's leading contract manufacturers and developers for the pharmaceutical industry with 4,000 employees at 15 sites. Our site in Starnberg is the headquarters of the Aenova Group.

Your key responsibilities

This role will be reporting to the CEO of the group, serving as a coordinator and quality gate. This is a single contributor role and can serve as a stepping stone. Your role will have two major pillars with the following activities:

  1. Strategy:
    (1) You will identify, take on, scope, and drive projects that can be either strategic or operational but will always carry measurable impact on top-line growth or EBITDA contribution.
    (2) You will oversee and execute the renewed evolution of the 3-year strategic plan covering all manufacturing facilities and functions.

In both cases, topics can span across all areas of the company’s value chain and portfolio, from procurement over manufacturing to sales, providing deep insight into creating value in a company of this size.

  2. Mergers & Acquisition:
    (1) Support the inorganic growth agenda by managing target identification, guiding and managing Due Diligences with internal and external stakeholders, and driving the final acquisition process.
    (2) Run Post Merger Integration for acquired assets and manage transition into Aenova Group.
    (3) Lead strategic footprint reviews and potential divestiture projects.

Your profile

  • Min. 3 years of experience in management consulting at a leading firm (Top 5) or an established healthcare boutique consultancy, with high academic achievement.
  • Proven experience as project manager, entrepreneur, or financial banker.
  • Hands-on implementation/execution experience, ideally in an international setting.
  • Knowledge and project experience in pharma/healthcare, ideally CDMO.
  • Extensive financial modeling skills, ability to design and maintain complex business cases, investment assessments, and forecasts (Excel).
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills, proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, with ability to craft clear narratives.
  • Motivated to drive change and achieve real impact.
  • Team-oriented, results-driven, with high emotional intelligence, capable of managing complex stakeholder environments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and think on your feet.
  • Proficiency in English and ideally one additional European language, preferably German.

Your motivation

Are you seeking new challenges in a competitive environment? Do you want to tackle them creatively and independently? Do you prefer a solution-oriented culture? If so, we look forward to explaining our corporate benefits in a personal conversation!
