Job Description:

As Head of Central Architecture and Development, you will be responsible for the technological direction and development of our central software components, as well as the strategic alignment of our product portfolio architecture, with a special emphasis on security-by-design principles. In this key position, you will report directly to the CTO.

Tasks inspiring you:

1. Leading and strategically developing the central architecture and development team (approx. 30 employees in Germany and Poland)
2. Designing and implementing group-wide technology, security, and architecture strategy
3. Establishing and advancing architecture governance processes
4. Coordinating technological alignment between business units
5. Standardizing and modernizing the technology stack across business units
6. Driving cloud transformation, particularly in the GCP environment (Google Cloud Platform)
7. Ensuring technical excellence, security, and innovation in all development projects
8. Collaborating closely with business units to optimize product development

Qualifications that inspire us:

1. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
2. Several years of experience in developing complex and secure B2B software solutions
3. Proven track record as a software architect or lead developer in larger organizations
4. Comprehensive experience with cloud technologies, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
5. In-depth knowledge of modern software architectures and development methodologies
6. Experience leading large, distributed development teams
7. Strong strategic and conceptual capabilities
8. Excellent communication skills and confident presence
9. Business fluency in German and English
