YOUR FUTURE ROLE

This role focuses on helping customers utilize SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) and SAP Business Data Cloud (SAP BDC) within their projects as their cloud platform of choice. BTP is SAP’s PaaS for innovation through integration and extension of SAP Business Suite. BDC is a SaaS solution that unifies and governs all SAP data, connecting seamlessly with third-party data to empower business leaders to make impactful decisions.

The Head of BTP / BDC & AI Customer Success Management (f/m/d), Germany, is responsible for the business performance of their territory and supporting their team’s success by identifying demand for consumption and expansion, guiding team members to achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure your team proactively engages with customers to drive mutual success based on the SAP BTP future-ready enterprise engagement model.
  • Lead the team to deliver business results through customer engagement throughout the SAP relationship lifecycle.
  • Collaborate within the Market Unit and across regional Cloud organizations (Sales, PreSales, Support, Services, etc.).
  • Manage a team of BTP or BDC & AI Customer Success Managers by territory to implement, expand, and scale business operations, ensuring adoption and growth.
  • Develop and deliver innovative Demand Generation Initiatives to foster adoption and expansion of the BTP / BDC customer base, including customers outside your direct team.
  • Coordinate the adoption of Go-to-Market assets within your territory in collaboration with Sales, Demand Generation, and Marketing.
  • Enable team members through knowledge sharing and drive team success at scale.
Your Profile:
  • Several years of experience in account management, Customer Success, Sales, Solution Management, Consulting, or Pre-Sales.
  • Extensive expertise in Solution Areas BTP, BDC, or AI.
  • Industry experience in Public, Energy & Services, Consumer Products, Retail, or related sectors.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Proven success in handling complex customer situations and engaging with customer executives.
  • Ability to drive BTP consumption, renewals, expansions, and upsells.
  • Strong understanding of cloud software solutions, delivery models, and cloud readiness challenges.
  • Experience with global transformation programs and navigating complex organizations.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP solutions, especially BTP Portfolio, and related business processes.
  • Established relationships with SAP leadership, account teams, and industry units.
  • Excellent communication, program management, and analytical skills.
  • Strong commercial and deal support skills, particularly in public Cloud BTP.
