Qualifikationen

• Mehrjährige relevante Berufserfahrung in der Finanzberatung, Wirtschaftsprüfung oder ähnlicher Position.
• Erfahrung im Aufbau und Management eines Buchhaltungsteams in einem schnell wachsenden Unternehmen.
• Starke Kenntnisse komplexer Geschäftsprozesse.

Aufgaben

• Leitung und Entwicklung des Finanzteams und Verantwortung für alle finanziellen Angelegenheiten des internationalen Unternehmens.
• Verantwortung für die Erstellung von Monats-, Halbjahres- und Jahresabschlüssen gemäß HGB/IFRS.

As Head of Accounting (m/f/d), you will play a key role in our international company with locations in Luxembourg, Germany, the USA, Singapore, and Austria. You will lead our dedicatedFinance team and, together with the Head of Finance/CEO, build a scalable, future-oriented financial structure.

Your Responsibilities

• Management and development of our finance team and responsibility for all financial matters of our international company
• Responsibility for accounting and including monthly, semi-annual, and annual financial statements in accordance with German Commercial Code (HGB)/IFRS
• Responsibility for group consolidation
• Responsibility for general ledger and intercompany reconciliation
• Development and optimization of efficient, scalable accounting processes in a growing corporate environment
• Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders: founders, investors, tax advisors, banks, and international teams
• Close cooperation with the Head of Finance and CEO

Your profile

• Degree in economics or comparable qualification
• Several years of relevant professional experience in finance consulting, auditing, or a comparable position in finance/accounting
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting
• Experience with DATEV, or similar tools
• A proven track record of building and managing an accounting team in a high-growth and fast paced business environment
• Strong analytical skills and a strong understanding of complex business processes
• Independent, structured working style and a high level of personal responsibility
• Strong communication skills and a confident demeanor with internal and external stakeholders
• You have already gained international project experience
• Hands-on mentality, attention to detail, and a natural affinity for numbers
• German: C1
