You’ll make an impact by
- Leading our Quality Management R&D teams for the EA portfolio, including software, SaaS, primary equipment, and electronics, and empowering global teams to ensure the highest standards in our projects.
- Implementing robust risk management and strong governance mechanisms for digital and hardware offerings and ensuring their mitigation.
- Fostering a lean and agile approach and systematically building value for customers by adopting modern software engineering practices.
- Driving AI integration into software engineering to enable data-driven decisions across all development phases.
- Establishing, implementing, and conducting regular quality checks in compliance with EA processes, standards, and policies (ISO, industry-specific regulations).
- Implementing lessons learned early in development activities with the Project Manager and leveraging Gen AI and automation for predictive quality analytics.
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives and managing risks related to software, hardware, and process quality during development.
Your defining qualities
- Several years of leadership experience with the ability to coach and mentor teams.
- Extensive experience in quality assurance and risk mitigation in software and electronic development.
- Expertise in the end-to-end software development lifecycle with dependencies on hardware and firmware, and knowledge of lean and agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with standards and regulations such as ISO9001, ISO27001, IEC 62443, Cybersecurity Resilient Act, and others relevant to E2E Product Lifecycle Management.
- Knowledge of quality tools (APQP, 8D, RCA, FMEA, Agile, Scrum), code analysis tools (SonarQube, Coverity), code repositories, GenAI in software development (e.g., GitHub Copilot), and requirements engineering.
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent, with proficiency in German and English.
