Company Description

The Hoxton, Charlottenburg (Berlin) – Head Bartender (m/f/d)

2023 sees The Hoxton expand into Europe! We’re establishing ourselves in some of our favorite cities, opening our first hotel in Germany in Berlin, a city known for its culture and creativity. We are now seeking a Head Bartender to join our team at the House of Tandoor, Tea House & Lobby.

Our Berlin location features 234 rooms of various sizes, a ground-floor restaurant and bar, coffee bar, streetside terrace, and The Apartment – our unique meetings and events space. Our restaurant combines North Indian communal dining with European cuisine, featuring tandoor ovens, Indian spices, marinades, prime cuts of meat, and a lively atmosphere.

Reporting to our Restaurant & Bar Manager, you will be responsible for guest service and ensuring a memorable experience for all visitors.

What you'll do...

1. Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring guest satisfaction and supporting the team as needed.
2. Lead the bar team to create a fun, relaxed atmosphere for guests to unwind and enjoy.
3. Contribute ideas to develop our menu and innovate our bar concept, staying ahead of trends.
4. Develop strategies to enhance performance and profitability.
5. Maintain thorough knowledge of products and systems.
6. Lead by example, uphold service standards, and encourage team development in the Hox way.
