Company Description

The Hoxton, Charlottenburg (Berlin) – Head Bartender (m/f/d)

2023 sees The Hoxton expand into Europe! We’re opening in some of our favorite cities, starting with our first hotel in Germany, located in Berlin, a hub of culture and creativity. We are seeking a Head Bartender to join our team at House of Tandoor, Tea House & Lobby.

Our Berlin property features 234 rooms of various sizes, a ground-floor restaurant and bar, a coffee bar, streetside terrace, and The Apartment – our unique meetings and events space. Our restaurant combines North Indian communal dining with European cuisine, featuring tandoor ovens, Indian spices, marinades, prime cuts of meat, and a lively atmosphere.

Reporting to our Restaurant & Bar Manager, you will be responsible for guest service and ensuring an enjoyable experience for all.

What you'll do...

1. Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting the team.

4. Implement strategies to improve performance and profitability.
5. Know your products and systems thoroughly.
6. Lead by example, upholding service standards, and fostering team growth.

Qualifications

3. Fluent in English; good German skills; additional languages are a plus.
4. Positive attitude and strong guest interaction skills.
5. Confident behind the bar and excellent with guests.
