About the Role

As a Hardware / Software Engineer, you will work on offshore transmission platforms, focusing on automating auxiliary systems and developing integrated hardware and software solutions. Your responsibilities include designing technical concepts, implementing solutions, coordinating with global customers, contributing to SCADA system development, creating documentation, conducting acceptance tests, and training customer personnel.

What You’ll Make an Impact

  • Realize auxiliary systems of offshore transmission platforms and contribute to technical concepts and implementation.
  • Coordinate with global customers to meet their requirements.
  • Develop SCADA system concepts, UI/UX designs, and implement them in software.
  • Create documentation for software and hardware components.
  • Support acceptance testing with customers and subcontractors.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions for customer operating and service personnel.

What You Bring

  • A technical university degree in automation technology, computer science, or similar.
  • Several years of professional experience in automation technology (e.g., Simatic S7, PCS7); knowledge of Visual Basic and/or C# is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SCADA systems such as SIMATIC WinCC OA and CopaData Zenon is advantageous.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Willingness to undertake multi-week international assignments, especially during system commissioning.
