To strengthen our team at the location in Leinfelden-Echterdingen (near Stuttgart), we are looking for a Hardware Engineer - Mobility (m/f/d) with immediate effect.

YOUR CHALLENGES
  • Responsible for conceptual planning and designing electronic hardware for electrical bicycle products, including camera and sound systems.
  • Manage the entire design cycle: component selection, schematic, layout, laboratory testing, verification, and production handover.
  • Develop a range of electronics, from multilayer PCBs with high-speed communication to sound systems with several watts output power.
  • Ensure excellent performance and hardware integration into battery-powered bicycle ecosystems.
  • Support product management in concept and planning of new products.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create solutions.
  • Create volume-driven mass production designs and support industrialization.
  • Coordinate with customers and suppliers for product integration.
YOUR PROFILE
  • Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or related field.
  • Experience in developing camera systems; sound systems experience is advantageous.
  • Proficiency with schematic and circuit design using EDA tools like Altium.
  • Basic experience with circuit simulation tools such as LTspice.
  • Experience with high-speed communication line design (USB, Ethernet) and wireless radios (WiFi, Bluetooth) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of EMC-compliant PCB design and robust cable connections.
  • Hands-on skills: soldering, testing, sample preparation.
  • Knowledge of quality management and documents like FMEA is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with agile tools such as Jira.
  • Interest in moderate travel within Europe.
  • Excellent English skills; German is a bonus.
