Introduction

We are smartmicro, a leading specialist in high-performance automotive and traffic radar sensor technology. We design, develop, and manufacture high-tech radar sensors for autonomous driving, intelligent traffic infrastructure, and smart cities. Your Tasks

1. Your main task is the development of high-performance digital and analog hardware using Altium Designer (circuit design and layout), considering existing development standards and guidelines.
2. Typical projects include boards with digital electronics and power supply for automotive radar sensors, usually with the latest multi-core processors.
3. Boards for radar RF electronics are also part of the job, developed in cooperation with the RF/antenna team.
4. You are responsible for hardware specification, schematic design, layout, testing, documentation, coordination, interface with the CAD design team, and hardware reviews.
5. You will support external and internal production.
6. This includes the ramp-up and testing of prototypes for series production.

Your Strengths

• Completed studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field.
• You are enthusiastic about hardware development for radar sensor technology.
• You have several years of experience in EMC-compliant hardware development of fast digital and high-frequency circuits, using design tools such as Altium Designer.
• You are familiar with test engineering, validation, simulation, PCB technologies, and high-speed designs.
• Knowledge of signal processing, transmission, and high-speed communication complements your profile.
• You demonstrate analytical and logical thinking skills and work independently.
