Jobbeschreibung

Introduction

We are smartmicro, leading specialist in high-performance automotive and traffic radar sensor technology. We design, develop and manufacture high-tech radar sensors for autonomous driving, intelligent traffic infrastructure and smart cities. Our mission is to make roads safer, enable autonomous driving in all-weather scenarios, optimize traffic flow for reduced travel times and enable greener, smarter cities. We make the future of mobility a reality.

Your Tasks

  1. Your main task is the development of high-performance digital and analog hardware using Altium Designer (circuit design and layout) under consideration of existing development standards and guidelines.
  2. Typical projects are boards with digital electronics and power supply for automotive radar sensors, usually with the latest multi-core processors.
  3. Boards for radar RF electronics are also part of the job, those are developed in cooperation with the RF/antenna team.
  4. You are responsible for the hardware specification, schematic design, layout, test, documentation, coordination, interface to CAD design team and implementation of hardware reviews.
  5. You will support external and internal production.
  6. This includes the ramp-up and testing of prototypes for series production.

Your Strengths

  1. Completed studies in electrical engineering/mechatronics or a comparable field.
  2. You are enthusiastic about hardware development for radar sensor technology.
  3. You have several years of experience in the EMC-compliant hardware development of fast digital circuits and high-frequency circuits, also with design tools for electronic circuits (e.g. Altium Designer).
  4. Next to knowledge of test engineering, validation and simulation, you are familiar with PCB technologies and high-speed designs.
  5. Knowledge of signal processing and transmission as well as high-speed communication round off your profile.
  6. You impress with your analytical and logical thinking skills as well as your independent way of working.

What You Can Expect From Us

  1. Innovation: latest technologies, modern building and free charging of electric and hybrid electric vehicles.
  2. Pleasant working environment: informal culture, motivated teams, short communication channels, room for active participation.
  3. Future-oriented workplace: permanent employment and individual training opportunities.
  4. Attractive location: located directly next to the highway and bus stop, with parking facilities for cars and bikes.
  5. Flexible working: hybrid working (3 days presence per week and option of mobile working after 3 months of training) + flexitime.
  6. Activities: team events, subsidized gym and the opportunity to walk and jog in the nearby forest.
  7. Other benefits: selection of drinks, fresh fruit, quarterly get-together with cake buffet.
