Job Description:

Role Overview

As an Embedded Solutions Architect, you'll be a key player in guiding technical partnerships with our Global Systems Integrators, from start to finish. Your role involves tailoring deals to meet customer needs, maximizing our Solutions and Services opportunities. You'll lead growth initiatives, initiate crucial technical dialogues, connect clients with our specialists for complex projects, ensuring ongoing success.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Accountable for activities related to solution ideation and design.
  • Collaborate with practice teams to share the vision and expectations to complete end-to-end solutions, from standalone solutions created by each practice.
  • Understand business context and challenges to define the vision and requirements for solutions. Recommend optimal options, considering RFI/RFP and proactive pursuits with the GSI.
  • Co-create solutions with the GSI team, communicating how they meet the end client’s desired outcomes.
  • Incorporate Lenovo and partner solutions, assets, tools, and IPs into the solutions to bring the best to the design.
  • Detail appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, integrations, or decommissioning options, considering business and technology aspects like productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.
  • Shape transformational deals with senior client executives, partnering with account and business development executives.
  • Formulate and communicate pricing changes proactively, adjusting solutions to fit budgets and align with business outcomes.
Key Preferences
  • Understand different solution approaches and select the most suitable based on Winnability, Profitability, and Deliverability, including advantages and disadvantages.
  • Build consensus with external and internal stakeholders and own solution defense.
  • Excellent communication, relationship, and customer management skills.
  • Experience delivering architectural initiatives in digital, cloud, and open-source technologies, with strong IT infrastructure knowledge, especially for large transformational projects.
  • Ability to estimate effort and resources, and drive optimization.
  • Experience working with CXO teams and enterprise initiatives in an advisory capacity.
  • Conduct discovery and assessment of customer portfolios, IT and business priorities, to create roadmaps.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams and sales to guide and evangelize patterns within the customer ecosystem with GSI.
  • Define IT strategies and roadmaps for end customers.
  • Coach teams and SAs.
