Zusammenfassung

Allianz SE seeks a Technology Strategist to shape and drive the global technology strategy and architecture for core business platforms. You will collaborate with IT architects, sponsors, and product owners to translate business goals into scalable technology solutions.

The role requires senior-level influence and experience in a large enterprise environment. Hybrid work model, international exposure, and opportunities to lead strategic initiatives across 60+ entities are offered.

Qualifikationen

• At least 7-10 years of relevant working experience in IT strategy, Enterprise Architecture, Strategy Consulting with a focus on technology, or strategic IT architecture
• Demonstrated experience in a technology strategy role influencing senior leadership and governance bodies
• Deep expertise in at least one technical domain, including Cloud, Integration Architecture, and Software Engineering

Who will you join?

At Allianz SE, Group Technology & Data drives the technology and IT architecture transformation of Allianz Group - moving one of the largest global financial service providers towards a technology-driven company and embracing technology innovation at the core of our business. As a Technology Strategist within the global Technology Architecture & Innovation team, you are responsible for shaping and driving our global technology strategy and strategic architecture of core business platforms, contributing to our vision as a technology-driven insurer. Influencing the overarching way we at Allianz do global business, you will be closely working with technology experts, IT architects, business sponsors and product owners.

How can you make an impact?

• Define and steer Allianz Group's technology strategy across the entire estate - from IT infrastructure to business application technology and bleeding-edge innovation, and shaping Allianz's sovereign technology approach
• Partner with business and technology subject-matter experts to translate business vision into technological vision, and ensure Allianz builds the capabilities to enable the business
• Identify and drive strategic technology transformation initiatives with a global scope, working with 60+ business entities and senior stakeholders throughout the company
• Act as principal strategic Technology and Architecture authority in selected domains; work with solution architecture and delivery teams through strategic alignment, standards, and governance
• Create heatmaps, roadmaps, and KPIs to prioritize and structure Allianz' global technology transformation
• Conduct research and analysis, and coordinate case studies and pilots around prospective technologies in order to trial new capabilities as defined in the technology roadmap
• Prepare and deliver architecture and technology briefings, including presentations, talks and white papers for senior leadership and the Board
• Work across the company to drive adoption of technical standards, design principles, and architecture methodologies
• Travel for meetings, technical reviews, and other onsite activities

What are you made of?

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 7-10 years of relevant working experience in IT strategy, Enterprise Architecture, Strategy Consulting with a focus on technology, or strategic IT architecture
• Ms or PhD degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• Demonstrated experience in a technology strategy or IT strategy role within a large enterprise environment or consulting engagement, with direct influence on senior leadership and governance bodies
• Deep expertise in at least one technical domain, such that Cloud, Integration Architecture, Application Architecture, Software Engineering, including architecture patterns, current and future market developments, best practices, and reference architectures
• Familiarity with delivery and IT operations frameworks and practices, including infrastructure-as-code and automation at scale
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills targeted at a diverse and senior audience, with an emphasis on the ability to influence effectively without direct authority
• Ability to quickly learn, understand, and synthesize technologies, methodologies, and solutions, and communicate to both technical and non-technical (including C-suite) audiences
• Work experience in a highly diverse, international environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a regulated financial services or insurance environment
• Background in enterprise-wide technology governance, IT risk, or architecture review board participation
• Previous experience in insurance or asset management business functions, consulting, digital / tech is a plus
• Experience applying ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solution
