Zusammenfassung

Allianz SE is seeking an IT Service Demand Manager to shape and govern technology demand for Allianz Re's business applications and IT services. You will coordinate between business owners, Allianz Technology, and governance functions to translate requirements into effective solutions and ensure delivery according to service levels.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in IT Solution Architecture, IT Product Ownership, Technology Consulting, Software Engineering, or Business Analysis.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, application lifecycle management, and technology governance.

Who will you join?

Allianz Re IT and Enterprise Architecture within H4 Allianz SE Solo Operations, IT and organization Allianz Re's Retained IT function of Allianz Reinsurance. We ensure that technology investments, architecture, service delivery, and IT governance support Allianz Re's business objectives while operational delivery is primarily provided by Allianz Technology. We act as the key interface between business stakeholders, service providers, and Group functions, ensuring that IT services are secure, compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with Allianz standards and regulatory requirements.

As an IT Service Demand Manager, you will shape and govern the technology demand for Allianz Re's business applications and IT services. You will act as the central point of coordination between business owners, Allianz Technology, and internal governance functions, ensuring business requirements are translated into effective technology solutions and delivered according to agreed service levels. You will oversee service performance, manage provider relationships, support budgeting and financial planning, and drive continuous improvement across your service portfolio.

This role is ideal for professionals looking to move beyond pure delivery roles and work at the intersection of business demand management, technology governance, enterprise architecture, AI enablement, and IT risk oversight. You will gain exposure to Allianz Re's global business, emerging technologies, and senior stakeholders.

How can you make an impact?

• Review the Service Agreements and the fulfillment for the Service Agreements based on monitoring information requested from the Service Provider
• Conduct reviews on business applications with respect to IT policies, internal /Allianz Group standards and where applicable enterprise architecture governance models. Follow up and apply in cases where necessary, report results to IT management
• Manage change initiatives and complex projects as necessary acting as link between business owner and Allianz Technology
• Ensure definition and communication of delivery scope for Core Services (well defined functional and non-functional requirements) and priority in alignment with the business owner
• Shape and manage business demand related to AI use cases, automation initiatives, and process improvements
• Promote the adoption of AI and automation solutions while balancing business value, risk, and compliance considerations
• Ensure quality of service provider's deliverables
• Contribute to IT cost planning and controlling with in depth knowledge about own services and quantity structures
• Foster reliable relationships with relevant stakeholders and interfaces

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

Professional Experience

• 3-5+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: IT Solution Architecture, IT Product Ownership, Technology Consulting, Software Engineering, Business Analysis

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, application lifecycle management, and technology governance
• Interest in and exposure to AI technologies, like Machine Learning (ML), Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, AI-enabled enterprise solutions
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
• Understanding of scalable, resilient, and secure enterprise architectures integrating AI into existing systems
• Understanding of IT governance, information security, and risk management principles
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as DORA and EU AI Act or willingness to rapidly acquire expertise in these areas
• Ability to translate regulatory and compliance requirements into practical application-level controls and governance processes

Personal Skills

• Ability to challenge constructively and influence stakeholders at different organizational levels
• Business-oriented mindset with strong customer focus
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in international and cross-functional environments
• Ability to operate successfully in complex, fast-paced, and evolving environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within insurance, reinsurance, financial services
• Previous experience in insurance or asset management business functions, consulting, digital / tech is a plus
• Experience applying ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solution

Relevant certifications such as:

• Microsoft Azure

• TOGAF
• ITIL
