Allianz Technology, headquartered in Munich, Germany, seeks an experienced Enterprise Architect to bridge Allianz's core insurance platforms with the Enterprise Architecture team. You will collaborate with area architects across Retail P&C, mid-corp, digital sales and health platforms to define target architecture, governance and risk management on a global scale.

You will drive standardization, modernization and decommissioning while ensuring documentation and compliance with Allianz standards.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years in IT architecture roles, global or multi-entity insurance environments.
• Experience driving architecture governance in federated organisations.
• Experience with core insurance platforms architecture (P&C, life/health).
• Basic knowledge of AI technology and practical use.

About the Job

As part of the EA 2.0 operating model, this global role establishes and maintains the connection between the architecture of Allianz Technology's core insurance platforms and the Enterprise Architecture team.

You act as the central counterpart to the (lead) area architects across Retail P&C and mid-corp, digital sales and marketing, commercial, life and health platforms, driving standardization, harmonization, modernization and decommissioning across a significant global scope. You own the key architecture dimensions for this platform landscape, from target architecture through to governance, risk and compliance. In this role, you are reporting directly into the Allianz Technology Head of Enterprise Architecture.

What you do

• Establish and maintain a close, strategic connect between the core insurance backbone platforms provided by Allianz Technology and the Enterprise Architecture team.
• Interface directly with (lead) area architects and their architecture organizations across Retail P&C and mid-corp (retail/claims), (digital) sales and marketing, commercial, life and health platforms.
• Own and drive the target architecture for the core insurance platform landscape.
• Prepare and steer architecture decision making and governance, including ARB, DAB and GAB decisions.
• Own architecture risk management for the platforms in scope, making risks transparent and driving mitigation.
• Drive standardization and harmonization as well as modernization and decommissioning across the platform portfolio.
• Ensure architecture documentation, compliance and adherence to Allianz architecture standards and guidelines.

What you bring

• Deep enterprise and solution architecture expertise in core insurance platforms (P&C, life and/or health), with a proven track record of shaping target architectures at group or global scale.
• Demonstrated ability to drive architecture governance and decision making in a large, federated organization — influencing senior stakeholders and architecture communities without direct reporting lines.
• Strong experience in platform modernization, harmonization and legacy decommissioning, including the associated architecture risk management.
• Basic knowledge of AI technology, principles, and their practical use.
• 10+ years of experience in IT architecture roles, several of them in a global or multi-entity insurance environment.
• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a comparable field.
