Job summary

OQEMA is seeking a Group Process Owner Sales & Procurement (m/f/d) in Mönchengladbach to lead end-to-end sales and procurement processes. You will connect Sales and Procurement across functions, shape the process template and drive harmonisation across countries while guiding the SAP S/4HANA rollout and integration with Salesforce.

You will work with agile teams, serve as a central interface across multiple functions, and translate business needs into clear process requirements.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Sales, Procurement or commercial process management (process ownership or transformation).
• Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash and/or Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Strong SAP process knowledge, preferably SAP S/4HANA SD/MM; SAP Signavio a plus.
• Ability to lead complex process discussions and translate requirements across boundaries.
• Experience working with agile teams, Product Owners, consultants and developers.

Responsibilities

• Own and further develop end-to-end Sales and Procurement processes across quotation, order management, stock sales and direct deliveries to purchasing and sourcing.
• Connect Sales and Procurement across organisational boundaries to avoid silo optimization.
• Drive harmonisation between countries and shape the process template; support decisions to Adopt / Adapt / Localise.
• Provide business process leadership for SAP S/4HANA rollout and ensure integration with Salesforce and other systems.
• Act as the central interface between Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Master Data, IT & Digitalisation and external partners.

Group Process Owner Sales & Procurement (m/f/d)

Your impact within the OQEMA Group:

• Own and further develop our end-to-end Sales and Procurement processes – from quotation, order management, sales from stock and direct deliveries to purchasing and sourcing


• Connect Sales and Procurement across organisational boundaries instead of optimising individual functions in isolation


• Drive harmonisation between countries, shape the OQEMA process template and support clear Adopt / Adapt / Localise decisions


• Provide business process leadership for our SAP S/4HANA rollout and ensure effective integration with surrounding solutions such as Salesforce


• Act as the central interface between Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Master Data, IT & Digitalisation and external partners – and manage dependencies with pricing, logistics and compliance


• Guide a strong Key User community through process design, testing, User Acceptance Testing, rollout and continuous improvement


• Translate business needs into clear process requirements and Business Cases, maintain the process landscape in SAP Signavio and turn process gaps into improvement initiatives

The Technology you’ll work with:

• SAP S/4HANA as our new group-wide ERP platform, especially SD and MM


• Salesforce as our CRM platform


• SAP Signavio for process modelling and documentation

What we are looking for:

• Significant experience in Sales, Procurement or commercial process management – ideally in process ownership, business transformation or consulting


• Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash and/or Procure-to-Pay processes – ideally across the interfaces of both


• Strong SAP process knowledge, preferably SAP S/4HANA SD and/or MM; SAP Signavio is a plus


• Ability to lead complex process discussions and translate business requirements into well-founded process and system recommendations across functional boundaries


• Experience in wholesale, distribution, chemicals or another complex, international B2B environment


• Confidence in facilitating workshops and aligning stakeholders from operational teams to management level


• Experience working with agile teams, Product Owners, consultants and developers


• Analytical and pragmatic mindset with the drive to challenge established processes


• Fluent English (C1), German is an advantage, and willingness to travel within Europe when required
