Qualifikationen

Jobbeschreibung

Would you like to work closely with senior management on all aspects of group controlling and reporting? Do you enjoy analyzing big data, creating group reporting models, and analyses to support top management in making informed decisions for the company's success? As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for end-to-end activities including closing, management reporting, and coordinating the annual budget and forecast processes for the group. Additionally, you will serve as a key contact for various stakeholders within the CFO department of Deutsche Börse.

Your responsibilities:
  1. Monthly closing:
    • Ensure timely closing of the books.
    • Ensure the quality of monthly P&L according to IFRS and be able to explain developments.
  2. Reporting:
    • Ensure high-quality and timely production of management reports (Actuals, Budget, Forecast) for the Executive Committee, Audit Committee, and Supervisory Board.
    • Comment on current business developments and highlight important focus topics for board discussions.
    • Develop and improve reporting layouts and standards for result visualization.
    • Serve as a contact person for internal and external audits.
  3. Budgeting/Forecasting:
    • Support the coordination of the annual budget and align with business counterparts, from top-down to bottom-up.
    • Coordinate the group-wide forecast process and prepare management decision proposals based on the results.
    • Act as a key contact for internal stakeholders, such as Risk, Tax, and Business Partners, on controlling-related questions.
Your profile:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Controlling or Finance.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Controlling; experience in a Group Controlling function is an asset.
  • Proactive and eager to develop new skills.
  • Self-motivated, highly committed, and result-oriented.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking focused on the needs of top management.
  • Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and Analysis for Office; knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus.
  • Expertise in MS Excel and PowerPoint, with strong layout skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English.
