Jobbeschreibung

As a Group Accountant in our Accounting, Reporting & Consolidation team, you will be responsible for the accounting and reporting of Awin Group subsidiaries (local GAAP and IFRS) and will review the bookkeeping diligently. You should have deep expertise in consolidations and compiling group figures.

You will excel in external communications between Awin and its shareholders, foreign tax advisors, auditors, and tax authorities. Internally, you will provide information to directors, other finance departments, and the People & Culture team. As an IFRS expert, you will serve as the point of contact for the entire global finance organization on IFRS-related questions.

This role involves working as part of a global team of experts and collaborating closely with our Finance Operations, FP&A, Tax, and Treasury teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting and reporting for various Awin Group subsidiaries (local GAAPs and IFRS)
2. Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
3. Monthly IFRS reporting to shareholders
4. Monthly consolidation of group figures
5. Serve as the IFRS competence center
6. Annual local GAAP reporting
7. Local VAT reporting

Skills & Expertise

1. Fluency in English and German
2. At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role
3. Advanced knowledge of consolidation issues
4. Extensive practical and theoretical knowledge of IFRS accounting and international taxation
5. Proficiency with Microsoft D365, Office Suite (especially Excel and Teams), LucaNet reporting, and consolidation suite
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
7. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
8. Global mindset with the ability to develop international relationships
9. Conscientiousness, flexibility, goal-oriented work style, and comfort in an agile environment
