This role is part of our Personalised Content team. We create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is hyper-personalised, digital communications that change perceptions, shape new behaviours, and shift market share for our clients!

JOB PURPOSE

The Group Account Director will lead the CRM/Onsite and Advertising workstreams for eBay, overseeing strategy development and execution across these key areas. This role requires a blend of account management and strategic planning, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions that drive revenue and engagement. The successful candidate will manage a team, ensuring high standards of work and fostering a proactive and energized team culture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute annual strategies in partnership with senior clients.
  • Oversee teams to create compelling digital content and advertising campaigns.
  • Lead, motivate, and inspire your team to achieve excellence.
  • Manage contract negotiations and oversee commercial agreements.
  • Deliver and track profitable growth for clients.
  • Ensure constant innovation across all deliverables, including content, technology, media, and data.
  • Contribute to the creative process with strategic insights and ideas.
  • Oversee budget management for campaigns and ongoing activities.
  • Manage relationships with platforms and partners.
  • Present work internally and externally, ensuring clarity and impact.
  • Complete work to deadline, often under pressure.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Extensive experience in roles servicing clients in an agency environment.
  • Proven track record in managing large client and agency teams.
  • Experience with complex campaigns, including paid social and CRM.
  • Confident with both brand and conversion/direct-response campaigns.
  • Strong leadership skills, able to create a proactive and energized team culture.
  • Experience working directly with director and C-level clients on strategy development.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a focus on efficiency and innovation.
  • Brilliant written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to react quickly within a fast-paced environment.
