Job Description :

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic professional to become a key partner in our Global GI Supply Chain Management (SCM) organization. This role involves driving innovation, enabling performance, and championing digital transformation across our global operations.

This position offers flexibility and can be based at a Hitachi Energy location in Europe, allowing for global collaboration while maintaining local connections.

How you'll make an impact

  • Lead global initiatives as the single point of contact for business units, driving alignment and execution of supply chain tools, programs, and processes.
  • Manage KPI target setting, coach teams on tool usage, and ensure high-quality data for real-time decision-making.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and digital transformation in performance reporting and supply chain strategy.
  • Support supply chain transformation aligning local efforts with the company's digital roadmap.
  • Design and evolve BI tools, dashboards, and develop metrics to enhance visibility and monitoring.
  • Assist in strategic planning, including performance budgeting and workforce onboarding/offboarding for SCM.
  • Produce strategic communications, including monthly reports and stakeholder updates.
  • Manage talent development programs, maintain development records, and partner with HR and leadership.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, including global surveys and follow-up actions.
  • Oversee Master Data quality, addressing gaps proactively.
  • Support the development and deployment of the GI SCM Digitalization journey.

Your background

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain operations, performance, or transformation roles.
  • Strong understanding of KPI management, data quality standards, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on problem-solving skills and process optimization experience.
  • Ability to lead change, coach teams, and inspire continuous improvement in a complex environment.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • High analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, especially SAP MM, SAP Ariba, and SCMIS applications.
  • Experience in Power BI development and SQL from dataset to content publication.
  • SharePoint administration and design experience.
