What you can expect
- Development and implementation of service strategies, policies and procedures that align with the corporate vision and goals
- Managing the budget, resources and performance of service operations in each region, as well as building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders such as customers, partners, vendors, and, where applicable, supervisory authorities
- Monitoring and evaluating the quality, customer satisfaction and customer retention
- Leading multiple global service teams in a matrix organization, including recruiting and building new teams in growing markets
- Promoting a culture of excellence, innovation and collaboration between service teams
- Contact person for complex technical issues and responsibility for escalation management in close coordination with internal departments
- Active identification of customer needs and upselling potentials, including market analyses of service products and its services
- Continuous improvement of global service operations (e.g. spare parts management, deployment planning, documentation) in close cooperation with regional teams
What you should bring
- Successfully completed technical and/or commercial vocational training, ideally a completed technical university degree (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering) or a comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable management role, preferably in a technology-related environment, or in a key position in an international service environment
- Proven experience in building a global service organization and in managing and developing teams, ideally in a matrix organization
- Profound technical knowledge and a clear understanding of establishment and change processes
- Willingness to travel (internationally) and intercultural competence
- High level of customer focus, organizational skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented approach to work
- Strong communication skills in German and English; other languages are an advantage
