Overview
ADAMA is recruiting for an ecotoxicologist to join the Environmental Safety team in the global regulatory group. We are principally looking for an experienced ecotoxicologist with > 7 years regulatory work experience in the AgChem area and with a good knowledge of global regulatory requirements. The role will require the post-holder to provide expert advice to help achieve and maintain registrations needed for the sale of innovative plant protection products from an environmental safety perspective, in all countries around the world where ADAMA is present.
You will mainly act in an advisory capacity to Regulatory Product Managers, aiding strategic decisions, reviewing dossiers for submission and subsequent regulator comments, designing and monitoring ecotox studies, and maintaining and growing expert knowledge in regulatory ecotoxicology. You will have specific responsibilities for ecotoxicology support on assigned active substances and products, and for maintaining up to date expert knowledge through participation in industry working groups e.g. CropLife.
The position is office based being within one of our main hubs e.g, Germany (Cologne), UK (near to Harrogate, Yorkshire) or Tel Aviv (Israel). There is a need for travel, primarily for regulatory meetings with authorities and industry associations, but also as an opportunity to attend scientific conferences and laboratory and field visits.
