About us

For our Strategic Business Field “Semicon Glass Solutions”, we are seeking an experienced “Global Quality Manager Semicon Glass Solutions (m/f/d)*” to define, implement, and govern quality processes adequate to reach the growth goals. The role is preferably based in Jena. Mainz or Grünenplan could be options as well.

Your Contribution

1. Ensuring the set-up and continuous development of a globally harmonized quality management system in accordance with corporate standards and international requirements
2. Establishing global frameworks and processes to ensure fulfillment of customer-specific quality requirements across all regions and sites
3. Acting as the global coordination point for customer audits, supporting local sites with standardized audit preparation processes and reporting
4. Defining and discussing quality agreements with customers, ensuring the achievement of the customer’s quality objectives
5. Supervising and consulting employees within his/her area of technical responsibility, including contribution to goal setting, personnel development, and training measures

Your Profile

1. Degree in Science or Engineering
2. Minimum of 6 years experience in production, supplier management, metrology, and quality across the entire value chain; preferably in the semiconductor or automotive supplier industry
3. International, multi-site experience in quality management
4. Experience with industry-specific quality standards, e.g., ISO 9001 and IATF 16949
5. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German is a strong plus
