Global Project Manager for Robotized NDT Confined Space Inspections (m/f/d)
Tasks
- Manage and coordinate global confined space robotized NDT inspections, primarily focusing on Europe.
- Develop and implement a centralized operational lead coordination system for robotized inspections tailored for confined spaces.
- Create a centralized tender support structure.
- Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial tenders for robotized NDT inspections, aligning with global and local sales teams.
- Manage both planned and emergency inspection activities to minimize customer downtime and ensure optimal service delivery.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver customized robotized NDT solutions meeting customer specifications and budgets.
- Innovate and integrate new robotic inspection solutions in collaboration with R&D teams to evolve service offerings.
- Streamline processes, resolve technical challenges, and implement improvements for operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular meetings with international NDT departments to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Oversee a team of NDT professionals, fostering a safety-first culture focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Manage budgets for procurement or in-house development of robotic solutions, emphasizing regional equipment utilization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related fields.
- Professional experience in robotic NDT inspections.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating market solutions and developing technical strategies.
- Excellent communication skills to represent DEKRA internally and externally.
- Knowledge of international contracting, accreditation requirements, and safety regulations for robotic NDT inspections.
- Operational experience in managing inspectors, subcontractors, and logistics for regulated industrial sites.
- Financial skills to oversee project budgets, negotiate with stakeholders, and analyze financial impacts.
- Interpersonal skills to lead, inspire, and collaborate with diverse engineering teams.
- Proven management ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and establish an international operational unit focused on confined space inspections and expansion of robotic NDT services.
