In our Advanced Materials division, we are a globally prominent manufacturer of high-quality thermoplastic materials in the form of semi-finished products and finished parts. Our engineering plastics and composites outperform metals and other materials in terms of performance and are used in various applications, primarily in the capital goods industry.

You will enable profitable growth with strategic markets and global OEMs for critical path applications and will be responsible for the Engineered Solutions capabilities and positioning. In alignment with the global Shapes strategy, you will focus on assemblies for developing the business strategy and key targets to further growth revenue and improve gross profit along with the sustainability of the portfolio. Next to that, you will assess market trends, opportunities, and threats in terms of products, services, and information and the effective utilization of internal capabilities to make our market knowledge useful and profitable for the company.

Aufgaben

  • Responsible for the global ES Strategy and support regional mid-term plan for sales development & growth, Gross Profit, key Capex & technology projects, current and future technology developments, raw material strategy, and M&A processes.
  • Initiate specific commercial growth developments and improve regional product line results focusing on reduced raw materials costs and lower conversion costs.
  • Manage capabilities portfolio management and expansion identifying increased value propositions, set price thresholds, and margin management guidelines.
  • Manage capabilities lifecycle while driving the introduction of new capabilities (translate customer needs to R&D to marketing/sales and manufacturing in the regions) and driving key global technology, efficiency improvement programs.
  • Responsible for global capacity utilization and capacity extension plans across all regions as well as optimization efforts.
  • Focus on balancing global capabilities and aligning new Capex initiatives with strategic OEM partners long-term regional sourcing changes and ensure global harmonization.
  • Sustainability: ensure strong sustainability and recycling initiatives aligned with KAITEKI Vision 35.
  • Maintain strategic raw material relationships with the goal to grow and develop business (establish market and business development plans with strategic raw material suppliers).

Profil

  • University Degree in Engineering.
  • Several years of experience working in cross-functional teams; having the maximum combination of various roles which can include sales, application development, technology/R&D, engineering, supply chain, operations, S&OP, and finance.
  • Optimistic and highly effective influencer with a hands-on, pragmatic way of working.
  • Strong ability to balance multiple important projects simultaneously and manage them to successful outcomes in a timely manner.
  • Strategic thinker with experience in defining, implementing, and managing product portfolio and management strategies in a global company.
  • Good understanding of engineering plastics, machining, assembly, and welding.
  • Knowledgeable in strategic markets (particularly Semicon and Medical) and critical path applications in these markets.
  • Strong change management experience and skilled at supporting and guiding teams through change transformation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization while being able to influence teams.
