Global Master Data Manager (f/m/d)

In support of our digitalization and transformation strategy, we are establishing a new business function for Global Master Data Management. The team is integrated within the product organization and reports directly to the Director of Business Development & Transformation.

YOUR TASKS :

1. Support the design and establishment of a company-wide master data framework: governance, organization, processes, systems, and tools.
2. Work closely with business stakeholders to coordinate and document master data needs and create suitable end-to-end concepts and data models.
3. Understand the business relevance of existing and new data requirements and ensure proper implementation across systems (e.g., PLM, SAP, PIM, CRM).
4. Solve operational issues by analyzing root causes and implementing solutions based on the master data framework.
5. Facilitate solutions in case of conflicting interests between business functions, such as unclear definitions, responsibilities, or use of attributes.
6. Define data standards and KPIs to ensure high data quality across related functions and systems.
7. Create data reports and conduct regular master data audits.

YOUR PROFILE :

1. Completed business or IT-related degree.
2. Several years of work experience related to master data management, ideally in a manufacturing company.
3. Experience in conceiving and implementing complex projects.
4. Proficiency with MDM tools (e.g., SAP, PLM, CRM) and MS Office.
5. Excellent networking and communication skills.
6. Passion for data and numbers, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and projects.
7. Fluent in English; German is an advantage.
8. Willingness to travel occasionally.
