About the role

We are supporting a growing, privately-owned pharmaceutical company near Stuttgart in their search for an experienced Logistics Manager to join their Supply Chain department. This role involves managing logistics-focused projects aimed at modernizing end-to-end processes, including warehouse optimization, system digitization, and customs procedures.

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in business administration, industrial engineering, or related fields with a focus on supply and logistics
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in supply chain and logistics
  • Experience in strategic project management and cross-departmental coordination
  • Structured, diligent, independent, and goal-oriented work style
  • Proficiency in SAP (MM module) and MS Office 365
  • Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Implementing strategic projects in supply and logistics
  • Developing and integrating systems across departments for seamless processes
  • Restructuring and standardizing end-to-end supply chain processes across markets, headquarters, and suppliers
  • Managing supply chain performance through existing and new KPIs

Supporting long-term volume planning and strategic measures include:

  • Ensuring warehouse capacity
  • Proposing and implementing logistics and distribution concepts

Leading digitization and automation initiatives in the supply chain, including:

  • Coordinating internal and external departments for SAP/GIB automation transition
  • Defining KPIs for efficient S&OP management, considering budget and supplier capacity (SAC)

Collaborating closely with planning, customer service, and production, including:

  • Aligning planning parameters and group interests for automation
  • Establishing processes for container and weight quantity to improve planning reliability

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Managing master data creation
  • Standardizing regulatory compliance processes (e.g., Interzero, IDMP)
  • Completing and optimizing customs procedures for compliance
