Global Lead Buyer (m/f/d)

How you will create an impact :

• Responsible for several main material groups and global commodity teams with members from all affected locations

• Coordination with local material group managers and other functions

• Development and management of material group strategies and action plans

• Development of supplier strategies to ensure cost, quality and performance targets are met

• Day-to-day work to improve supplier performance, quality and reduce costs

• Clear communication of the material group strategy to local teams

• Realization of savings targets and implementation of strategies at all locations

What are we looking for :

• Degree in industrial engineering, business administration or comparable qualifications

• Several years of experience as a Lead Buyer or head of cross-functional teams in an industrial environment, preferably in the transformer industry.

• Exceptional skills in the areas of analytics, project and process management, self-organization, structuring and prioritization,

• assertiveness combined with the ability to work in a team, communication with internal and external stakeholders.

• Fluent in written and spoken English

• Willingness to travel up to 30%
