Summary Statement

SUITX by Ottobock (formerly Bionic Exoskeletons) was established in 8 as a new business unit and aims to provide technical solutions that improve working conditions for employees in physically demanding environments. As a Global Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for the active strategic expansion of our key customers, who are global industry leaders. Your goal is to establish Ottobock as the preferred supplier for our exoskeleton product portfolio worldwide.

The position can also be filled remotely within Germany.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Strategic development and expansion of international key customers in mobility, logistics, and retail sectors with global sales responsibility
  • Establish contact with decision-makers and central interfaces globally; promote our product portfolio as a standard application
  • Present the Ottobock exoskeleton portfolio, conduct product demonstrations, and support on-site tests
  • Develop customer-specific solutions and negotiate framework contracts
  • Analyze customer and competitive situations to adapt sales strategies and develop marketing plans
  • Provide feedback for the development of new products (interface management)
  • Presentations and demonstrations at associations, institutes, and interest groups
  • Support at trade fairs and customer events

Profile

  • Degree in industrial engineering, economics, or a related field
  • Extensive international experience in B2B sales, ideally in logistics, mobility, or retail
  • Experience in setting up and expanding key accounts and developing sales strategies
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, social media proficiency
  • Independent, flexible, and willing to travel internationally (primarily within Germany)
  • Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus
  • Persuasive, enthusiastic, motivated
  • Comfortable working in a startup-like environment in a new business area
  • Team-oriented, responsible, creative, and proactive
