DS Smith is a leading provider of sustainable fibre-based packaging worldwide, supported by recycling and papermaking operations. We play a central role in the value chain across sectors including e-commerce, fast-moving consumer goods, and industrials.
As a Global Key Account Manager, you will lead, develop, win, and maintain business with strategic automotive accounts, achieving Key Sales KPIs and Account Plan targets.
You will play a key role in creating, implementing, and driving the account strategy for major divisional customers within the customer base and across DS Smith.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Qualified to degree level (or equivalent experience);
Strong business acumen, commercial experience, and proven results in driving sales growth, developing, and executing account strategies at a divisional level;
Ability to navigate a complex global matrix environment;
Proven capability to analyze financial insights and initiate appropriate actions;
A resilient, entrepreneurial, and persuasive change agent with excellent communication, networking, and stakeholder management skills;
Fluent in written and spoken German and English; additional European languages are advantageous;
Previous experience in the packaging industry is preferred but not required.
