Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Sales (Regional Responsibilities)Act as global account leader (GAM) and / or regional account leader (RAM) for particular clients and collaborate with other members of the Global Account Management Team
- Actively manage business development activities for particular clients and maintain relationship to client’s key decision makers and influencers at corporate level
- Monitor global and regional sales activity of local KWE entities for particular clients
- Discuss sales progress with local heads of sales, regional and corporate senior management on frequent basis
- Prepare and conduct regular business review meetings with clients
- Manage KPI performance monitoring for particular clients
- Actively manage setup of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for particular clients
- Actively manage business implementation and lead cross functional teams (e.g. IT, Security, Quality, etc) in order to create customer retention strategy
- Support RFQ Management for particular clients based on KWE Groups Global RFQ Process
- Actively develop and roll out business development strategies and pricing strategies for particular clients
- Conduct and lead calls with corporate and regional senior management to review and align the strategy for particular clients.
- Participate in internal and external meetings in EMEA region and globally.
- Prepare client specific data analysis
- Prepare presentation material for clients (sales / data analysis / pricing / business concepts / others).
- Support and involve in P / L management for particular accounts
- Support specific client contract management
- Support managing operational escalation issues
- Manage sales amount and volume budget for particular clients
2. CRM
- Comply with KWE CRM policy
- Maintain CRM hygiene for particular clients (monitor and manage entries by local KWE entities for particular clients)
- Maintain customer profiles within the CRM setup
3. Projects
- Support of special projects (e.g. Sales Campaigns, Route Development, others)
4. Others
- Support general data analysis and market research to support setup of sales strategies and sales initiatives
- Monitor and support client related IT projects (e.g. reporting setup, EDI)
- Potentially act as backup for other “Global Key Account Managers” in EMEA region
- Support Deputy General Manager EMEA on request
- Other tasks that may be assigned by management (permanent or as part of a special project)
Education and / or Work Experience Requirements :
- min. Secondary School or High School degree
- min 7 years experience in sales positions
- Degree and min. 10 years experience in international forwarding or similar
- Fluent in German
- Professional English language knowledge (spoken & written), additional languages (especially French) are a plus
- Good knowledge of MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Office 365)
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong intracultural and intercultural communication skills
- Strong interpersonal relationship management
