An established industry player is seeking a Global Distributed Products Manager to spearhead initiatives aimed at increasing revenues of consumables in the electronic manufacturing sector. This role involves developing strategic marketing plans, managing product portfolios, and supporting sales channels to ensure product success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management or sales within the electronics industry and be capable of inspiring teams and customers alike. As worldwide market leaders in plant production and process for the highly precise production of products for the electronic industry, it is very successful.
With a broad list of machines, products, and expendable materials, the enterprise can fulfill the entire process support of its customers completely and without restrictions, playing a key role for them.
Location: Germany (Rhein-Main Area). The position owner reports disciplinarily to the general manager of the German location.
To grow the capability to increase revenues of consumable products (Process Improvement Products) and to provide global infrastructure while managing the supply chain to maximize next business day delivery capability to key markets globally for distributed products, we are looking for a:
The key goal is to develop and implement a strategy to increase revenues of consumables (Process Improvement Products) by 15% +/- annum and maintain and grow business profitability.
– Minimum of 5 years experience in the electronic manufacturing industry in a product management or sales management/technical marketing-oriented role.
– Experience in managing global (remote) (project) teams.
– Strong communication skills.
– Ability to inspire customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
– Sound technical background and know-how.
– Entrepreneurial skills and capability to think and act strategically.
– Six Sigma background useful but not essential.
– Global travel is fundamental to the activities of the role (approx. 25 – 50% of the time).
– Business-level communication in German and English; other languages (French, Chinese) are a benefit.
