J.P. Morgan’s Global Corporate Banking business serves large corporate, financial institution, and public sector clients worldwide. We assist clients in achieving their strategic goals through financing, liquidity, payments, risk management, and investment banking solutions. With global reach, local expertise, and sector knowledge, we deliver end-to-end solutions to help clients operate efficiently and grow in over 100 markets.

As part of Global Corporate Banking Mid-Cap, you will manage relationships with private and listed companies with revenues of $500 million and above. This group offers traditional corporate banking and investment banking products. Our business partners include specialists in Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, M&A, Treasury Services, Corporate Derivatives, and Private Banking.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Identify, pursue, and close sales opportunities for J.P. Morgan's financial products and services.
  2. Manage complex, multi-product client relationships as the primary relationship manager.
  3. Coordinate efforts among internal partners, including Investment Banking industry and product teams.
  4. Market to clients and prospects; represent GCB Mid-Cap European Banking Group in local banking and business communities; develop referral networks.
  5. Collaborate with credit underwriting on analysis, structuring, negotiation, and documentation of credit requests.
  6. Engage in strategic dialogue with clients and prospects to generate investment banking, treasury, and credit opportunities.
  7. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and JPMC rules, policies, and procedures.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  1. Proven track record as a top individual contributor with strong performance.
  2. Exceptional ability to manage and influence stakeholder relationships, especially at senior management levels.
  3. Experience in executing Commercial Banking, Investment Banking, or Capital Markets products in leadership roles.
  4. Knowledge of the German Mid Cap Market.
  5. Strong work ethic; self-starter capable of working independently and within teams.
  6. Ability to adapt under pressure and challenging situations.
  7. Excellent presentation skills and client relationship capabilities.
  8. Demonstrated leadership and proactivity.
  9. Strong credit, analytical, and problem-solving skills to identify trends and approach business strategically.
  10. Ability to manage multiple priorities within strict deadlines.
  11. Enthusiasm for new and challenging tasks in a dynamic environment.
  12. Fluent in English and German.
