Entirely is seeking a Head of Global Accounting to own the integrity and timeliness of accounting across the Entirely Group, including HGB and IFRS reporting. You will lead global accounting operations, drive consolidation, tax coordination and the post-implementation ERP journey, while partnering with the CFO and senior stakeholders.

You will manage a high-performing, multinational team and ensure robust internal controls, data quality and timely financial insight to enable strategic decisions

Qualifikationen

• Oversee post-implementation ERP activities, data quality and automation initiatives.
• Manage liquidity planning and provide cash-flow visibility; collaborate with CFO.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing international accounting team.

As Head of Global Accounting, you will own the integrity, timeliness and scalability of accounting across Entirely and the wider Entirely Group. You will lead global accounting operations, ensure robust HGB and IFRS reporting, coordinate tax and statutory compliance, and create the processes and systems needed to support growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role for an accounting professional who combines technical depth with operational pragmatism. Working closely with the CFO and senior stakeholders, you will turn accurate financial data into a dependable foundation for decisions, liquidity management and the Group’s post-implementation systems journey.

Job responsibilities

Financial reporting, tax and statutory compliance

• Own the preparation, review and consolidation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS.
• Lead the consolidation and reconciliation of multiple books across all Entirely entities, ensuring intercompany balances, reporting packages and entity-level data are complete, accurate and aligned for group reporting.
• Coordinate local accounting partners and regional teams to deliver complete, consistent and accurate reporting across all entities.
• Oversee timely and accurate VAT, tax and statutory filings, including the coordination of supporting documentation and responses to authorities.
• Drive a clear group reporting calendar, close process and quality-control routines.

Accounting operations and controls

• Lead global accounting operations covering general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and fixed assets.
• Design, document and implement standard operating procedures that improve efficiency, accountability and scalability.
• Establish, operate and continuously strengthen internal controls across the accounting cycle.
• Identify process risks and implement practical improvements that increase data quality and reduce manual effort.

Audit, governance and risk management

• Coordinate annual audits and act as a trusted counterpart to external auditors, advisors and local finance partners.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable local, national and international accounting requirements.
• Maintain and monitor accounting policies, control documentation and evidence of compliance.
• Provide clear escalation, resolution and follow-through on accounting and reporting issues.

Financial systems, post-implementation optimisation and automation

• Own the maintenance and continuous improvement of accounting systems and related finance tools.
• Lead initiatives to integrate and automate accounting processes, improve data flows and reduce reconciliation effort.
• Standardise master data, processes and controls to maintain the ERP data integrity.
• Ensure finance systems provide accurate, timely and decision-useful information to the business.

Cash management and strategic partnership

• Own short- and medium-term liquidity planning across the Entirely entities and Group, working closely with the CFO and relevant stakeholders.
• Provide reliable cash-flow visibility and highlight risks, opportunities and required actions early.
• Partner with the CFO and senior executives on financial planning, decision-making and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to the development and execution of the Group’s financial strategy.

Leadership and team development

• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing global accounting team.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable and service-oriented culture across internal and external finance partners.
• Ensure the team has the skills, capacity, tools and support required to meet the organisation’s needs.
• Build effective ways of working across locations, entities and implementation partners.

Job requirements

• Several years of experience in senior accounting leadership, group accounting or a comparable international finance role.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in accounting, finance, business administration or a related discipline; professional accounting qualification is advantageous.
• Strong technical knowledge of HGB and IFRS, including consolidation and group reporting.
• Demonstrated experience consolidating and reconciling multiple books across all entities, including intercompany transactions, balance-sheet reconciliations and investigation of variances.
• Proven experience with VAT, tax coordination, statutory reporting and external audits across multiple entities or jurisdictions.
• Hands-on expertise across general ledger, month-end close, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets and internal controls.
• Experience standardising accounting processes, writing Standard Operating Processes and embedding effective control frameworks.
• Proven experience managing post-implementation ERP activities, including stabilisation, process optimisation, user support, controls, data quality and continuous improvement.
• Strong understanding of cash management, liquidity planning and cash-flow visibility.
• Confident people leader with experience developing teams across international locations and working effectively with external partners.
• Analytical, structured and detail-oriented, with the ability to balance accuracy, pace and practical business needs.
• Clear communicator who can explain complex accounting topics to non-finance stakeholders and influence senior decision-makers.
• High level of integrity, discretion, ownership and professional judgement.
