HGM Glass is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Glass Sales & Estimator to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of both residential and commercial projects. From quoting semi and frameless shower doors and enclosures to managing commercial project orders, this position combines customer interaction, operational planning, and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and provide accurate quotes for semi-frameless and frameless shower doors and enclosures.
• Source and order glass, hardware, and parts required for shower door projects.
• Coordinate with production and installation teams to ensure timely delivery and installation.

Commercial Glass Projects:

• Review and perform takeoffs from commercial project blueprints to determine glass and metal requirements.
• Obtain pricing for glass and metal components needed for commercial project quotes.
• Order glass and metal for awarded commercial projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications.

Operational Coordination:

• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to manage inventory, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with the sales, production, and installation teams to align project timelines and client expectations.
• Maintain organized records of quotes, orders, and project documentation.
• Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries related to quotes, orders, and project updates.
• Assist the sales team with follow-up and communication to close sales opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a sales and/or operations role within the glass, construction, or home improvement industry is preferred.
• Strong understanding of glass and hardware components used in residential and commercial applications.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting commercial blueprints and specifications.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with customers, vendors, and team members.
• Familiarity with ordering processes and inventory management systems.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with quoting software or CRM platforms.
• Knowledge of the glass industry, including vendor relationships and product standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
