Vitabay is a family-run e-commerce company with over 25 years of experience in nutritional supplements and health products. Since 1999, we have been developing and selling high-quality vitamins and supplements, primarily through Amazon and increasingly via our own Shopify store.

Our goal : To make our Shopify store the core of our DTC business—technically robust, high-performing, and scalable for the long term.

We are seeking an experienced Shopify developer who not only codes but also actively shapes Vitabay's digital future.

Tasks :

1. Develop and maintain our Shopify Plus shop (front-end & back-end)
2. Create custom themes and develop tailored Shopify apps
3. Integrate tools like Klaviyo, GA4, A/B testing, etc.
4. Optimize performance and continuously enhance user experience
5. Collaborate closely with marketing, design, and management teams

Front-end skills :

Shopify Plus expertise :

• Proficient with Shopify APIs (REST and GraphQL)
• Experience developing custom Shopify apps (e.g., Node.js or PHP based)
• Practical experience with integrating e-commerce tools like Klaviyo
• Back-end skills: Extending Shopify functionalities via custom development, preferably with Shopify Functions or cloud solutions

Back-end & scaling :

• Knowledge of extending Shopify functionalities (e.g., Shopify Functions, cloud solutions)
• Experience with high-traffic stores and performance tuning
• Focus on load time optimization and scalable architecture

Data-driven optimization :

• Familiarity with A/B testing, GA4, funnels, and conversion optimization
• Ability to derive and implement optimization strategies from data analysis
